- Trail running shoes with excellent grip
- Technical running clothes (moisture-wicking, layerable)
- Cap/hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection
- Running socks, consider compression for longer distances
- Water bottle/hydration pack/vest
- Waterproof jacket, optional gloves and buff for variable mountain weather
- Personal first aid kit (blister care & anti-chafing cream)
- Electrolyte/salt tablets & energy gels/bars
- Race bib, timing chip, and safety pins
- GPS device/smartphone with downloaded route/maps
- Photo ID and medical card in waterproof bag
Ultra Marathon (60KM)
- Mandatory acclimatization (2+ days recommended)
- Running vest/backpack (1-2L reservoir, nutrition, spare clothing)
- Headlamp with spare batteries, emergency blanket, whistle
- Extra layers (insulated jacket and rain shell)
- Optional: trekking poles, gaiters, microspikes (if snow possible)
- Drop bags for crew/aid stations with socks, shoes, extra nutrition
- Permit documents (Inner Line Permit as needed)
Marathon (42KM) & Half Marathon (21KM)
- Trail shoes and weather-adapted clothes
- Hydration pack or hand bottles
- Sunscreen, cap/visor, sunglasses
- Energy gels/chews, basic nutrition
- Electrolyte drinks
- Layered clothing for Himalayan temp swings
10KM Challenge and 5KM Fun Run
- Trail running shoes with good grip
- Light technical shirt/shorts
- Optional light shell/jacket or waist pack
- Minimalist first aid & a couple gels/chews
- Hand bottle or soft flask (optional but helpful in mountains)
Special High-Altitude Precautions
- Allow time for acclimatization above 2500m

- Warm, dry change of clothes for post-race
